Gem Fire Agate Lapidary Rough!
Each parcel is a mixture of rough from Mexico, Arizona or California. I have sorted out my best
looking material into these mixed parcels. Most of the pieces show fire others are hopefully "sleepers"
Some have been tumbled down to show colors.
Cutting Fire Agate is often done with a flex shaft tool and diamond burrs to work down through the
bumpy layers of agate. Some manage to get them finished with the edge of their sanding wheels.
It takes an easy touch to cut down to and not through the fire. Each parcel has good firey rough and
with care will cut some gemstone cabochons.
